    Los Angeles isn’t famous for its Fall season. While the leaves on most of our trees don’t change to oranges and reds, we do get to enjoy 75 degree weather and go bike riding at the beach any day of the year.

    ESN-LA took advantage of this beautiful time of year and went on a hike through Griffith Park to the famous Observatory located in the Hollywood Hills.

  • ESN-NYC: The Museum of the Moving Image

    The Museum of the Moving Image was once a famous film studio for silent films. Today, it is one of the only film museums of its kind, located in Queens, New York. The museum offers an interesting look at film and television history through old, archive footage and antique equipment. The museum also includes cutting-edge exhibitions on technology.

  • ESN-LA Goes to the Hollywood Bowl

    In the heart of LA lies the Hollywood Bowl, arguably one of the most famous music venues in the United States. It’s prominence stems from its long history of iconic performances, from American musicians like Frank Sinatra to the world-famous The Beatles. Our students got the chance to explore the inside, learn about the architectural design of the building, and — most importantly — be immersed in its colorful history.

  • LA + NYC: Fun Things to Do in August!

    Summer is a magical season filled with outdoor movie screenings, music, and beach-going. Eventually though, all good things must come to an end. The month of August signals the approaching end of summer — students return to school, vacations come to an end, and the days shorten even further.

    Don’t worry! There’s still plenty of time to enjoy fun, outdoor activities. Check out our calendars and get out there and make some more summer memories!

    FUN FACT: The Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles is the home of the LA Philharmonic when they aren’t playing at their summer home, the Hollywood Bowl. When the Walt Disney Concert Hall was built, the steel walls reflected a lot of sunlight. As a result, the nearby sidewalks were a scorching 140 degrees Fahrenheit!
